Helen Marder (b. 1989, Brooklyn, NY) is a Fine Artist creating paintings, prints, and sculptures. In 2011, she received her B.A from Hunter College. In 2022, she received her M.F.A in Studio Arts from Brooklyn College. Marder showcased her work in a group exhibition in 2016, titled Backstage: Studies of Solitude in Rockwall Studios, Brooklyn. In 2020, her drawings were shown in a group exhibition, titled The Student Concours: February 2020 at the Phyllis Harriman Mason Gallery in New York. In 2022, her MFA thesis show, Shelter in the Storm was shown at 601 Artspace in New York. Marder was awarded the Augustus Saint-Gaudens Award for Professional Achievement in Art for excellence in drawing from The School Art League in 2007. She has completed commissions in painting and continues to develop her practice and skills in her studio. She lives and works in Port Chester, New York.
